Pacific Sailplanes was established in 1979

Since 1979 Pacific Sailplanes has been involved in model composite fabrication. Pacific Sailplanes first models was the Redtail, and shortly afterwards both the Kestrel 19 and the Habu were released. During the later part of the eighties and into the nineties most of that effort had been redirected towards the aerospace sector, mainly testing. Now Pacific Sailplanes has become more involved in nearly all aspects of today’s composite modeling. Pacific Sailplanes is involved in both composite and vacuum forming for all air, marine, and car products. Currently Pacific Sailplanes is producing composite fuselages.
